For those of you that missed it last time.

Gonna be a hell of a nice trip. Dam run, then hot springs chillin(can you even do that), some exploring and then some beach time to top it all off. Gonna be great.

For those unfortunate few that have to work Saturdays, start working that now. Cough, Cough, or whatever you have to do. Remember that we cannot do this on a Sunday. Cant go north of Willow on Sunday or Monday!!!

IF you get off a midday on Sat then we will meet you some place....Rude.

I know I will see Red N Vegas, Velocity Driver, Red Horse ( no kidding)

Who I expect to see: dicudmore, Titties and Beer, Too Much Fun, Diggin for Dollars, Rude 235, Tub of Fun, Out Coled, B-Rad 502

Who I am hoping will get off to go on a Sat trip: Just another Payment, Rude 235

Met up with Moneypit at willow saturday, had a great time. Passed each other as I was coming down from the dam, headed down and found a beach where some HB guys were hanging out.

I will probably bring the boat home at the end of August. I will put it on Mead then.

Just gonna chime in on this one.. I MAY be able to make this. There are a couple of variables that I need to work out, but we were tentatively planning on heading into Laughlin on the night of the 7th. not rough at all..on the upper side by the dam the lower half made but nothing like mead the last time you went out.the only time its gets rough is when another boat flys by you.

Just to throw in an update... It looks like the stars/planets are lining up correctly for me. I will be out next weekend. Just working on the group going with me to leave Saturday morning early, rather than late(originally planned to head out Sat. evening.) Will be staying in Laughlin through Tuesday. I am not sure about getting there as early as you guys, but I will most likely drive up to Cottonwood and launch, then head up. Anyone have any GPS coordinates for Mojave? Hot Springs? Anything helps.

Moneypit - I have a VHF, but haven't mounted it yet. Need to get an antennae for it. Probably no chance of me being prepared by Saturday with the VHF, Sorry. I do have a cell phone though? Don't know if it will work there, but seems to be fairly reliable most of the time on the river.

For Akamatsu, see reply to other thread on VHF antennae mounts. Mine is stainless and thru bolted on the starboard side of the boat. 2 inch square bracket plate and 4 bolts.

Just to give y'all an update. I am now heading for laughlin tonight... I'll be leaving in about 30 minutes. Gonna get to the hotel, check in, sleep a few hours and then head over to cottonwood. Another guy(Joe) and me will head out in the morning, leaving the wives/kids to basque in the sun by the pool for the day. However, at cottonwood, I will meet up with my inlaws and 2 nephews(12 and 13 I think??). My father-in-law is going to leave his boat at cottonwood and ride with me. I will have a total of six.
