real estate near lake mohave

first of all - went to lake mohave this sat and came back on tuesday. i wanted to join you guys at willow but we met some friends who were on jet skis and just stayed near davis dam. it was awesome out there for the 3 days. now i'm back at work, blah!

anyway, where are the good spots near lake mohave to buy real estate? we were thinking of a place not too far from the strip. what are the places to avoid? nevada or az side?

we saw some decent homes in fort mohave (fairway estates) where you can have a custom deep garage but we would prefer something closer. since this would be a vacation home, we are looking for something under 200K. for this price, are we stuck with a small lot and a mobile home???

if you know of a good realtor too, please recommend one. thanks.

The only problem with that area between Needles and Searchlight it that it is full of meth labs. You will never know who your neighbor is or what he does until it is too late.

You might want to look at the Bullhead City side of the river...there seems to be a bunch of new development going on over there...you might just have to take another trip out that way to look around. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Bullhead city is definetly the place to look, pricing is still good, decent property size and ther is new construction going on, only 15 minutes to mohave and 20 minutes to needles and about 1 hour to havasu. Good Luck

I'm with everybody on the Bullhead City thoughts. I read that many builders have move on to Fort Mohave from LHC now.
