Never been on Mohave and decided it's about time ...
Best Launch?
How to get there from Vegas?
Any dangerous or shallow spots?
Thanks in advance for info. ...

I would go to willow beach from vegas, being the closest.
Beautiful water up there also http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
Nice run from there up to hoover or down the lake from willow as well.
Just go up the highway past the "hacienda" casino, over the hoover dam and then the turn off is 15 miles down the highway. About 5 more miles to the water...

No doubt.
The ride from Willow to Mohave is awesome.

You could also drive down to Cottonwood and access both directions. Great launch ramp and facilities in general. Willow seems a bit more Spartan.

Agreed....a few more amenities at Cottonwood. No matter where you launch, go up to the dam. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I'm thinkin' yea on Sat. Where you all meeting and when to drive down? I store in Boulder City up the hill from the Taco Bell so can grab the boat, gas up and head to Willow; or meet somewhere to follow folks down. First time on Mohave for me. I'll be with the wife, kids, and maybe some kid friends.
I don't care about amenities, as long as there is a ramp that can accommodate my boat and maybe gas if I run out, but I fuel up beforehand so should have plenty.
Saw Dan's (?) dicudmore's boat at Offshore ... had mine in for oil, filter, spark plugs, and etc. change; and some minor repair to screws and bolts and welds that have banged apart. Your drive was all apart and they were scratching their heads http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif.

During the 2nd LVHB Regatta, we did a run up to the damn and stopped there for a refill of beverages....they told us that they don't sell alcohol up there! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif Fortunately, some of our fellow LVHB members had some extras to share! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
