I have a leak in my outdrive from the shift shaft seal
here is a link, it is number 26
http://www.sterndrive.info/sterndriveparts/id22.html
If anyone bought a seal kit and still have this one part, I am in desperate need to get it fixed before Sat, or no go for the weekend.
Â*My boat guy has let me down for the first time in 3 years and I am really getting upset about my boat being broken. So far my trip to Havasu for Memorial day has cost me alot in repairs. Nothing like having a blowout to rip the fender off the trailer, and ever so gently remove the taillight on the way out. Oh ya, and bent the rim. So 2 new tires, 2 new fenders, 2 new rims, 2 new taillights and the diamond plate to replace the steps on the trailer.

Bring
Out
Another
Thousand!!!!!!

Please help, need a prayer.

Keith - Sorry to hear it. Have you tried some of the other shops in town? Maybe one of them can help? You might call Kevin at R&R prop shop and tell him your from LVHB and ask if there is anything he can do....he is pretty resourceful from what I hear.

If it's just a seal you need, you can try Bearing, Belt and Chain. They are on Alderbaran, between Spring Mt and DI. Bring in your old one and try to match it up.They are an industrial bearing dealer but if it is a standard type seal they may have it.

I think the boat is fixed, took lower unit off, and found the seal to have actually lifted out of the hole. It is kinda a press fit so I pressed it back in and all looks good. Will know for sure this afternoon.

Ya, I am so happy about this.
