How many of you have a GPS. Better question, how many DO NOT have one? Youre gonna have to get one before the event if you want to participate. You can still come to the gathering, you just have to have a GPS or be really good with a sextant, compass and a map.
If you dont know how to use it except to check your speed then you will have to learn to NAVIGATE with it. Yes that is correct. Use the thing. This is going to be great. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif
BTW, there is a website in the links portion of this site that has them or West marine. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

I got one and kind of know how to use it. I am leaving work in an hour or so and am taking the boat out. I will toy with the GPS some more out on the water.

If there is any way that yall can save up 200 bucks between now and the event date (June 19-21st) and get a GPS this would be great.
Planned is a combination of 2 events. One of the latest things to do is have a treasure hunt using your GPS. What I want to do is have some coordinateds that you place into your GPS and then you find that spot and then get your card. The coordinates will be mixed up. Not in order like stop 1-6. They will be random so the one person cant lead the entire group stop to stop, or lead them into a total state of lostness. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
This way you get to actually learn to use your GPS and you dont exactly know where you are going till you get there. Means this is going to be an adventure as well. An expediton if you will. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

YOU WOULD THINK THAT SOMETHING THAT IS SMART ENOUGH TO TELL YOU WHERE YOU ARE ON THE EARTH AND HOW TO GET WHERE YOU ARE GOING, SHOULD BE ABLE TO TELL YOU HOW TO OPERATE ITSELF, INSTRUCTION BOOK IS VERY CONFUSING, ESPECIALLY AFTER MANY BEERS.

Well after buying all my Home theater equipment I don't know if I can talk Cari into letting me buy a GPS ..But I would be more then happy to had out the cards at one of the stops..Plus I most likely have the slowest boat in the club http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

I think so. I reserved the back room at Hooters for everybody starting about 6:30. I told them twenty or so people. Hope everybody doesn't make me look like a fool.
