I just bought a SS prop (4 Blade). When I got back from Havasu, my shiny new prop had a hazy film all over it. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif I tried a bunch of different cleaners but had a hell of a time getting that shine back. Any suggestions on cleaners to keep it looking new?
you might try the metal polish from amsoil. i've had very good luck with it on aluminum fuel tanks and wheels along with a SS exhaust stack on a peterbilt. but have not had the opportunity to use it on a SS prop. they also make a cleaner called T6 that would probably work. i am an amsoil dealer and i know that's a shameless plug for the stuff but it really does work.
Lime-Away works the best for me. But, always wear a glove if you have contact with your hands. I just use a small sponge.

I've used muriatic acid, highly diluted and with gloves, but make sure you polish it after or it will rust. Wenol polish works great on stainless.
