What can blue printing a prop do for someone? I have a 496 HO w/ a 24 four blade bravo 1 prop, rpm's are at 4700. could this add mph with the extra rpm's left?
BTW welcome to the boards!

You might have to give Kevin a little time here. Â*Not sure he's frequenting this board yet, but I'm trying. Â*I'll tell him to check it when I see him tomorrow.

Rich-
Blueprinting a prop can add RPM and speed. At best figure 300 RPM and 3 to 5 MPH. You might call me at the shop 564 7502. We will be gone the 4th, 5th and 6th.
Kevin
propman, what shop do you work at/own? once i hit the water i'd love to start foolin' around with different props to find the right one. i've only got one prop and it's a junky one at best. once i get my sea legs back i'd like to bounce some ideas off ya for the right wheel.

Rude-
I own R&R Prop Shop In Henderson. Â*Perhaps you should visit or call, we have plenty of props you might try. Â*All it takes is a deposit and a promise to bring it back in good shape.

My recomendations to propman. I won't go anywhere else. I gained two hundred RPM and two MPH. Good bang for the buck.

Kevin-What is the cost for blueprinting? I have a SS 4 blade 21p on my boat. Just trying to decide if the money spent would be worth it. Thanks.
P.S. Would I get a "Same Name" discount?? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Kevin, maybe you could help me out also. I have a mercury 4 blade bravo 30 that was lab finished by Mercury, and worked great. I damaged it a little( that's another story) and had it repaired by Bronson Hill. It works like shit now, almost the exact performance I had before Murcury labbed it. Can you do similar work to the Mercury guys?
I would love to get back the performance I've lost with this so called repair!

Wow-- Where to start? Beach bum-- the going rate is $200.00 for blueprinting. I'm sure we could "un-fix" the work done at Hill Propeller, unless blade area was removed. Since most of you are local I'm am willing to go out and lake test with you. One high speed pass and I usually know what to do, in some cases nothing. I do have a speed calculator/ slip program and I'm pretty good at telling what prop works on what boat. We are super busy at the shop now and I do not have time to "internet" every day. If you get impatient, call me at the shop 564 7502
Thanks for kind words
