The Garmin GPS III+ that I have does display the altitude IF you want to. I would assume most if not all do the same.

Just a suggestion, if we are bringing the kids, what about Joes crab shack in the same parking lot? Food is not as good, but a better atmoshere for the kids. They can play while we hang.

You can use the 15 or if it is easier access, use the new 215, It is pretty far up Sahara off the 15, and only a few minutes off the 215.

my cell# is (702) 810-2473, but you should be able to jump off of the 15 south and take the 215 west all the way around town and get off at sahara and go east. if you go this way, you'll only have a few blocks on sahara. or you can take the 15 south to sahara east, and take sahara across town. this way you'll have city stop and go traffic but it may the easiest if your not familiar with the beltway (otherwise called the 215). call if you need more directions.

I would take the 215. Going West on Sahara from the 15 would be a long drive. Lots of signals. Eastern to Sahara on the 215 15-20 minutes max. Then go East on Sahara about 2-3 Miles on the left hand side. Look for Z Tejas/IHOP. It is right behind there.
