Hey rude235, you can send the pic to me (dglasco1@cox.net) and we'll add it for you. Btw, I'm D', LM1's web guy. Glad to have you aboard. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Are you on a mac or pc? You should be able to use the browse feature that is located right above the "add reply" button. Just hit the "browse" button and navigate to the picture on your hard drive. Oh wait. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif Do you have the picture on your computer or are you trying to grab it from another site? If it's somewhere else, just point me to it. We'll get it. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

Wow, this is really strange. Hmm..... Does it have a .jpg or .gif extension like boat.jpg or boat.gif? Those are the formats it will except. If it has a different extension, do you have a way to convert it to a jpg? Also, is it a large image. It could be the file size. And the email thing didn't work either. hmm.. So after you find the file on your computer with the browse button and hit "add reply" does it give you an error message?
it is a .bmp file if i'm not mistaken. it will load the message and attachment but when it reaches 100% (according to the little blue bar at the bottom of the screen) it just stays there. you know, like it's still thinkin' or something. i'll see if i can figure out how to change it to a .jpg file and see if that helps.
ok, i've changed it to a .jpg file. lets see what happens now.
LOL LOL....well it's there all right. i was hoping for something closer to the size of the pics that most of the people have at the bottom of there posts. about 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 inches. not an 8X10! what about sending it to you as an email attachment?
i'll try this again. i just tried to reduce the size of it so we'll see what it looks like now.
i don't have any idea what you did but it looks great!! thanx! now i don't feel so left out.

Cool.... I added your boat to your signature. Nice ride. Now all you need is an avatar. You can find them in the the "Control Panel" under "Personal Info".

you did so well on gettin' boat pic in there now maybe you can explain how to get one of my own pics on my posts as an avatar. i have one on my computer already that's saved as a jpg file. do i need to pull a pic from a web site? thanx again for the help!

Voila ! Looking like a real member. Now all you need to do is put the size and type of boat (under the photo) and where you live ( under your avatar) http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif I think you can do that yourself in your control panel
well i wish i could take some of the credit for that stuff gettin' in the right places but i can't. calirider did all the work and it looks great! now if i could just get out on the water in my boat i'd even feel like a real member.
