Always doing the recruiting, I met a guy named Kevin yesterday that lives down the street from a buddy of mine. He's got an ex-ski race boat that he's putting the finishing touches on after a year of sitting and plans to go to Havasu this weekend.
I also told him about the Parker/OP6 thing and he said he'd come down on Saturday.
His name is Kevin, and while the boat looked like a Schadia to me, he said it was something else (yeah, I forgot already). Anyway, it pales in comparison to the mountain motor sticking out of it. The boat is white and purple (great colors, hey Greg?) and it's got a 509 cube big block with an 8-71 blower and dual carbs. Dual 45 gallon tanks feed that puppy and he says it runs right at 100mph! Should be a screamer.
I told him about the club and he said he'd look it up on the web and is interested in coming out to the campout on the 4th of July.
