I call chat room

I can't get the chat room to work. I fill out the name box and push the button in the right hand corner, get the room to come up but I can't type anything in. Help!

At the bottom of that box, there is a white box. Click in there until you see the blinking cursor, then type. I'm in there now. 8:34
