I know this is a little early...but which weekend is the "Parade of Lights" in Havasu? Kurt (NS) and I were talking about heading out for it this year. Anyone else planning on attending?

we stayed at the london bridge resort and had a boat slip for the weekend. that was awesome!!! it was pretty cold on the water if you were moving and it was damn cold at night. but we hooked up with a few other folks that brought firewood so it worked out pretty good.

In very cold water the boat won't move as it will be surrounded by ICE!

Seriously...the Parade of Lights was awsome last year! We didn't have the house done and didn't boat but hung out in the channel with a lot of folks and had a great time. This year we'll probably do the same except bring even more warm clothes and maybe one of those portable firepits. Plus plenty of beer and a tripod to take better (read: non-fuzzy) pictures.

By the way...the Boat Parade of Lights is scheduled for 12/6 and 12/7..

Valentine's Day...ummmm.NO. Sorry KC, but I'm going to guess that this idea will go over like a turd in a party punchbowl. I've monopolized enough anniversaries, birthdays, etc to include boating to know not to push this one http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif Valentine's Day is all about a nice dinner, going out, consuming expensive alcohol, and, hopefully, getting "some".
