How's the lake [Archive]

I'll be on mead sept 19 thru 22. How's the lake level? What's the weather going to be like? What about cop's, do I have to worry. I can drink alot of beer. All info you can give would be great. Thanks....

If you drink so much beer that you may be worried, think about how worried everybody else should be. Â*Kinda scarry.

with the amount of patrol on the lakes these days...I wouldn't be drinking much, if at all, while I am driving.

Lake level is holding steady at about 1142 +/-. Lake Mead Marina has redone the ramp to accommodate larger boats and trailers.

I agree with other responses ... there have been many mishaps on the lake of late, and I would not be drinking unless I had a designated driver. Safety first, and as a deterrant, the NPS and Fish and Game patrols are heavy and set up to focus on OUI and noise checks at all marinas and at populated spots on the lake.
