First Mead trip ever

I am going to Lake Mead june 21 through 24 and I have never boated there before. Need some insight on where the cool places are. I am a stupid Utah hot boater (flying elvis' from the other boards) I'll gladly trade tips about Powell. Or if any one wants to hook up with us cool! I'll be at overton late friday night probably wont get on the water till saturday morning. I have a 25 DCB eagle white with red lightning bolt. can you belive all thease years growing up boating and I've never been to Mead? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif

I'm from so cal but just moved here from SLC. Flaming Gorge is my favorite by far!

I hope you enjoy your trip here to Mead. I think we all love it here. A couple of things, watch the weather, it can get really nasty out there and it's sometimes called a little ocean. Watch the water, it's really low. You shouldn't have any problem if you're careful and keep your eyes open, but there are some hazards out there that weren't a couple years back. The water level is at it's lowest in 40 years.

I have great maps available in the shop if you need one - it's a huge lake!

hey There lakemeadone ya B-Rad502 and myself Isee his posts on hot boat and havasubarney and I think i've seen on azhotboats. I think he's ether in Phoenix or vegas. so were you here in SLC for the olympics. I too dig the Gorge but Powell Is my all time fav..
