When I was a kid my dad used to take me to Cal Luthern in Thousand Oaks for their training camp back in the Stauback(SP) days. I got alot of neat pics and autographs. Still always hated them though being a Lambs fan.

Okay here we go for all you non-believers out there. The Cowboys are going to go 9-7 with a wild card berth. But i think they will loose to the class of there division the Eagles(yes i'm from the Philly area) in the first round of the playoffs. Remember 7 of the games they lost last year they were either tied or leading going into the 4th quarter, they just need to finish them off this year. Look for Quincy to have a break out year. 502 - my family is from MN, I've been a Vikings fan for about 15 years or so - through thick and thin. There are other teams I like, but my favorite is the Vikes.

On a lighter note, creating this fantasy football league I created has prompted me to get the directtv sunday nfl package - they installed it last night- I'm stoked!

Now I can sit in my big chair watching every game in the nfl at will with my laptop in front of me watching my scores update LIVE!

When the package first became available, my friend bought it. On Sundays, he would have both receivers to his game room and also 4 TVs. Then we would have 2 tvs on the local games (usually Raiders/Niners ) and the other two tvs on the satalite stations. About 6-10 of us would watch, drink, gamble, etc all friggin day. Our lodging and meals are at Santa Fe Station. Each morning they're picking us up at the hotel at 6:00am and driving up to Mercury, NV to the Radiological Test Site. Then back to the hotel around 6:30 or so. Frerrote is EN FUEGO!! Way to go Vikes. They get a bye week and then 2 or three home games. Denver looks the toughest though, that will be the best challenge for them yet. They've got talent deep - just look at the backup Moe W. and you can tell, or look at Frerrotte. I think they can go all the way! Should be interesting to see how the colts fair tonight, I think this is going to be a tough test for them and will show their potential.

The Vikings have not only the Denver Broncos to worry about but also the Kansas City Chiefs at the end of the season. Otherwise, they have a very easy schedule - Lions 2x (1-4 now), Chicago 2x (1-3 now), San Diego (0-5 now) & Arizona (1-4 now). St. Louis & Oakland are shaky. Maybe Green Bay can play well enough to give them a game...

Looks like they will definitely be in the playoffs unless a total collapse occurs.

But...that penalty call for "leaping" on the first overtime field goal try by the Colts was completely bogus. The defensive lineman fell underneath the player penalized for jumping on his back...even Madden saw that it was bogus. Oh well...

Typical reaction 502, everybody says wait till they play the 49er's, wait till they play the Falcons, wait till they play the Broncos, know what, 6-0 baby! Only two left KC and the Vikes. Of course it doesn't mean anything till the end but for now 6-0 baby. Another point, take the Vikes 6 wins away and give them to the competion and they are 20-20, perfect NFL parity. diggin' - Thiefs (ummm Chiefs) have only played against two common opponents with the Vikings - Denver & Green Bay. Otherwise, the Chiefs' opponent's records aren't that impressive either...18 for 27 combined. Both team have relatively weak schedules. Again, only one opponent with a winning record - Denver.

The Vikings actually won another game...beating the lowly Detroit Tigers...and they struggled do that! It took two interception returns for TD's to do so. Great offensive show for the Vikes!

Upsets:

Seattle losing to the Ravens.
Chicago over the Broncs.
Pittsburgh over Cleveland.

The Raiders took their usual loss in stride though they made it pretty close. Great game to watch.

Cowboys slithered past the Panthers somehow. Great "D" Carolina!

Thanks Mike, Been busy for me lately.. We are selling our house and moving to a bigger one. Brandon's (my son) soccer team has been playing since Aug. His team took second in the championship game due to they were one player short on the feild. His team is now in the area playoffs representing Rancho Cucamonga as the #2 team. His team had a game last Sat. against Fontana #1 and won 8-3. His playoff run continues untill the end of the month. If his team wins the next two games then we go to the sectional playoffs and mabey play some of those "O.C." teams....LOL
Changing subjects, I will be pulling the boat out of the garage and Kc will bring it to Havasu this weekend.. At least the repositioning of the water craft has begun. Plus I need to start packing concidering my house goes on the market this Sat. What are the plans for boating this summer? I know the first weekend in May we will be somewhere and Memorial Day we will be in Havasu for sure.... Not sure we will make it to the event @ Mead due to the Essex regatta is the weekend after and Brandons b-day is the same weekend as the LVHB event.

Fo' us...the usual schedule...every other weekend (as long as we can stand the drive) in Havasu. Memorial Day - NOT! Staying home for the big holidays. Essex Regatta - YES! Mead Happening (LVHB Regatta III ?) NOT - same reasoning.

Thats great you will be at the Essex regatta... I think Kc will also be there to. The new house is north of us, same area ( we like the school the kids are in). The new house is about 2000 sq ft... yes I know thats not as big as some but its better then my 1100 sq ft house.... And who would ever think that in the 909 you can sell a 1100 sq ft home for 300+....For the price im paying for this new house I might be able to start looking in the O.C. area.......j/k, they would not except my application to move to there county. Plus I hear there is no karate dancing allowed.......
