Where's everyone going for the 4th? It's about planning time for us. I just had lunch with Riverlife and he's still thinking Cottonwood. That works for us, should be a decent group of people - but the more LVHB we can get together the better!
So let us know where your boat will be http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

My boat will be in the water. No real plans for where that will be yet...I'm waiting on you to decide!

Let's call it Mead then, sounds like most of us are free and going to be here. Riverlife is coming up for this too. We'll plan on launching out of Calville thursday morning, and camping Thursday and possibly Friday night also.
So Mead for the 4th, with camping optional if you're interested.

Sweet, I'm in for the days. Not sure about camping (I know, I'm a puss). We'll see how hot it is. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

I've got Echo Bay reservations for the 4th, but I am considering canelling them. The wife may have to work on Friday. If we can get up to Calville where are you planning on camping (general directions)? Also, which hotel is the closest to that part of the lake?
Later.

You could stay at the fiesta which is only 20 minutes or so from calville. We'll probably camp right outside the channel. We can all camp at the same spot if you're going to make it. Oh, except for the"non-camper" Keith - ha ha

Hey Jason, glad to have you back on the boards. Hope your trip was somewhat successful and you got some good leads. Let me know if I can do anything else to help out. It was great to meet you.
So what do you mean "whatever"? You're in for the 4th here? That would be great. If you need a place to crash you're both always welcome with us.

What's up Greg! Â*Thanks again for your hospitality (both of you). Â*You were both very nice. Â*We may be re-thinking this whole Vegas thing. Â*We could open some stores here within a few months, Vegas would take about a year, and we're not sure Vegas would be a long term choice to live for us. Â*We'll see.
As for the 4th....... Yes, I mean whatever you guys plan on, we'll be down for. Â*As long as the water level is fine, and the wind ain't howling! Do they do a firework show at Mead? We usually go into Vegas for that.

So, we have Cole, Thor, Riverlife, Keith, us and Runnin a Fever (don't cancel http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif )
not bad http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif
I hope things work out for you here J, remember the COL (cost of living http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif )
I don't know if they have fireworks at Mead or not. I'm not big on fireworks either way, and the city will be a mess to get around it. We can figure it out though, how about we just light some big bushes on fire http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif j/k

LM1 - I'm not totally familiar with the "channel" is that also called the "narrows"? I'll try to make it out if the wife isn't working. The bush thing wouldn't go over too well with mister Ranger, and we need all the shade we can get. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

it may be called the narrows, I should know that. If you launch in the las vegas basin you have to go through a long canyon of sorts, so I call it a channel http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I could always swing by the Avi to grab a shit load of fireworks, but Mr. Ranger probably wouldn't like that either. My girl and I will probably just find some pirch overlooking "the meadows" and watch from there.
