Well it's damn near new, and is officially/unofficially FOR SALE!! Â*(not advertised yet)
Yep, I can't hang on to cars too long. Â*I make my fiance nuts.
It's a 2003 Chevy 1500HD 4x4, 21,000 miles, ALL the good stuff, obviously still under warranty (5 year 75K mile to be exact), 6.0 engine, 4.10 gears, K&N FIPK kit, billet grill, bed liner................... yadda, yadda for $26,500. (brand new was $38K!!!!!!http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif
I don't need that much truck and am moving back to the SUV club.

Kev., no the stereo never went in. I kept it all in the garage because I have been contemplating selling it for a while. And yes, I've been working my ass off! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif
Diggin', cars are meant to be driven, I just do it too much. That's why I always get the extended warranty. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif
This thing is flawless though, inside, outside, engine. I'm a freak about my cars!!
how about if we just trade! i'll give you my '98 dodge pick-up and you give my your new chevy http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif i'll be waiting by the phone for your call http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

Rude - Follow these steps....
Go into "Your Control Panel"
Personal Info
Edit your profile
from there it is under "Custom Member Title" and type what you want in there. Put some spaces in there to make two lines.
Give it a try.
from looking at it, that doesn't look like what i'm after. i'm trying to put someone's post in the gray box in my reply. from the directions you gave, how do i put the post i want to use in the box?

Are you looking to put something where I have my "Not To Worry" or somewhere else? Maybe I don't understand? It could be the Long Island Ice Tea, Orange Dream, and the Lime Aid and Kettle One that I have had today? http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

what i'm trying to figure out is how to put, for example, the above post in the gray box that would show up on my reply. look back 3 posts, where you were giving me step by step directions. the gray box on top with a quote from another post is what i'm trying to accomplish and it's really kicking my ass!! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/insane.gif

Rude - just click on the "Quote" button above the message from the peep you want to quote. Should work unless, of course, you're on an Apple.

Rude - Like E502 said....click the quote button in the upper right corner of message you want to quote.
Essex502
08-05-2003, 06:57 AM
Or...
Precede the text you want to quote with (quote) and follow it with (/quote) replacing the "(" or ")" I typed here with "[" or "]", respectively. That should give you the grey background on the "quoted" text.
Clear as mud?

Mike - I don't think that puts the grey box around it....I think that is his problem.

typed
t e s t then [ q u o t e ] then copied your text using <ctrl>+c and pasted it using <ctrl>+v and then typed [ / q u o t e ]
should work. NOTE: the spaces between the typed letters are to allow entry of the information without the board acting upon it as "code". Try it Kevin.

db - the "Quote" button is easier but for special effects such as quoting several different passages and typing responses between them
