BH - I had some problems with your pics and my camera pics last night.....I had to pull them into Photoshop and reduce the size to something like 1024x? Guys, guys, guys....if you look at the browse button section for posting a picture in a reply you will see that the forum has a limitation of 10 meg in file size (10240000 bytes). If your pic is larger than that it won't be accepted. I really think the the limit as shown is in error and the file size is probably a lot smaller than 10MB and on the order of 1 meg.

Reduce the size to 640 x 480 and you will have a nicely sized pic for the reply anything larger and you will have to scroll to see the picture unless you are on a 19" or larger monitor.

Oh yeah, to answer your question, Kevin: Friday's little experience with near drowning kind of scared the heck out of the kids and Dianne so when they insisted on staying by the pool on Saturday I obliged. Â*That was like torture being at Lake Powell and standing in a damn pool overlooking the lake. Â*I felt like the grounded kid pressing my nose against the window while watching everyone play outside. Â*At about 2:00, I couldn't take it anymore so I forced them to go boating in the bay. Â*It worked out as a nice way to end the weekend and we stayed out until after sunset.

It was a great trip. The water is way down (90'http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif right now. Gives you a chance to a lot of things that you can't see when the water level is up, but leaves a lot of boat hazards to watch out for. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

Wifes won't beach camp? (Reason 8374947390 not to get another wife!!! j/k) We used to launch 3 or 4 boats at either Hite or Bullfrog on a Fri afternoon, pull back out sun afternoon. Spend a couple nights on the water just sight seeing, skiing, relaxing. Â*Got to see alot of the lake that way. Â*It was the best, about 5 or so every evening just find a beach thats shadded up and anchor just off shore. Throw the sand chairs and BBQ's up on the beach and knock down a few silvers while cooking and smoke a cigar for desert. My boat doesn't really have a cuddy but the crawl space is big enouph for the little one and SO I would usually sleep on the back seat. Get up the next morning, bowl o cereal and figure out where the hell you wanted to go that day? Â*Probably would be better if it were just you and the Mrs. Â*When I was doing it I only had one chilin and our friends only had 1 each.
Only time we really spent on the beach was cooking and playing in the evening.

Is that the spot you are referring to? If so, I believe it was at the end of Labrynth Canyon off Padre Bay. It wasn't too protected from the wind, because it didn't have REAL high canyon walls but it was a very nice place.
