Boat Shop & Storage Questions

Thanks in advance for the help / info.

A few questions regarding boat repair shops & storage in the Henderson / Overton / Las Vegas area.

1) I have a 28 Nordic Heat w/ a 496 HO and am looking for a Mercury Certified Mechanic to perform periodic service / fix recall notices etc.... in the above areas. Any recommendations would be appreciated !!!

2) We boat mostly out of Echo Bay but currently store the boat in Bullhead City. I would like to move the boat closer to Echo Bay and have been waiting for Club Wet Storage to open in Overton. Might take longer than I have to wait. On a separate note, does anyone know if you can "buy" a storage unit in any of these areas w/ the hope the appreciation will ultimately pay for the storage costs ??

hello club wet is open ,plus i think their is other storage in overton.we go out of overton its easy,post a pic of your boat we have a 28-heat and their is other nordic's in the club http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif

the shop that i would recommend is no where near overton, but dunsmore custom marine in boulder city, nv. is a very good shop. you would just have to get approval before him doing any work. he's not on the merc warranty work list. i contacted eliminator about him doing work on my boat and they said they were very familiar with him and would have NO problem with him doing any warranty work on the boat. if you call them (dunsmore) ask for billy (or bill jr.).

Thanks for the info re: repair facilities. Â*When you say I need to get approval before having them do any work, I assume you mean approval from Mercury ??

Are are the launching facilities at the Overton Marina ??
