This motor will make 950 hp on 110 octane fuel @ 25 pounds of boost. If you under drive the blower 10% to 15%, it will still make 450hp to 650hp on 89 octane pump gas.

Scott; which do you perfer? How much power do you want?

Well from what I am reading on Berkley jets I can go to 400hp/500hp with it set up like it is now..I think if I go to a AA blade I can go higher in horse power...I think the 650hp would be nice ,but hell lets go with the 950hp and I will see what happens to the jet. Unless you think I will blow the crap out of the jet pump?

I would like to hear from other Jet Heads on what they think.

First, I believe you need to decide how tight you are going to turn the engine. It will turn 8500 RPM the way it is now, and will spin @ 7200 RPM all day long, which is something to take into consideration when working with the pump. You may also want to think about the availability of racing gasoline. Why not try 650 HP at first, and see if that is enough for your boat. We can always perk-it-up a little later-on if not.

Thats a good point about the race gas vers the pump gas.. I think giving that ponit we should go with the 650hp..That will keep the old lady off my butt about the cost everytime we need to fill up...
