[BADFISH II]

I'll know more by today or tomorrow, but since we only have about 9 boats for a photo shoot, if we need to back the date up to get a few more of you who have to work involved we may just do that. The more the better!

If you're interested and would be able to make it, please vote for the soonest possible date you would be available for a LVHB gathering at Cottonwood Cove on Lake Mojave to have Hot Boat do a story on us and some photo's. The weekend would probably include dropping in at Willow for some of us, cruising down to CC, and possibly camping if anyone wants too.

Also, if you'd rather have it at mead post a reply here, if more people want it at Mead we can do that too.

I'm brand spankin' new to the group so if my name doesn't look familiar thats why. I vote for something after the middle of July. I should have my boat back by then. As far as what lake, I don't know where any of places are that you mentioned. I've never been on the water out here.

Cottonwood Cove is a marina about 1/2 way down Mojave. If you were to head towards Laughlin from Vegas, you go East from Searchlight.

Where are you located and what do you have?

Whatever weekend it is, I will try to make it. July is a busy month for me. I am going to be away most of the weekends. And since I am a lousy camper, Mead works better for me. But since I am not sure if I can make it anyway, Make it any weekend that works for everyone else, and I will try.

As for the photo shoot, we need mega participation to make it worth it for these guys. I would love to get it going, but we probably need 15 boats or so.

Hey Riverlife, how are things going down there, have you talked to your friends?

We may just do it at Mead depending on participation and who wants to go where. Cole, we'd love to have you be able to make it also.

So give me some feedback, I'd like to make this thing work. As soon as I get some more input I'll make another contact at Hot Boat and see what we can do.

STV Keith: we live in the northeast part of vegas. we have a 20ft nordic viking with a 235 evinrude. it is currently in the shop getting a new interior put in. we were hoping to have it back by the 4th but i don't think it's going to happen. i will hopefully have it back by the time the club has it's photoshoot with hot boat! you've got a sweet boat by the way. i'm a HUGE fan of tunnels!

Sorry for the late response. Greg, talked to them today actually and they said they would love to, as long as the Catalina ski race isn't that same weekend. I don't know when that is. They said they are sure another 3 or so boats would come but they will confirm and get back to me. So that could be 6 boats from them! I say we're a go!

Excellent! Glad you can make it. The official date is 8/3 and place is Cottonwood. I figure we'll all meet up there around 10 or so.
