My 88 Eliminator has a plastic stereo cover assembly with a hinged plexiglass door cover. This unit (and the dashboard cutout) is much bigger than the newer covers that I've seen. Has anyone seen or know of a place to buy these older, bigger covers or has anyone seen a custom setup? Mine's all old and faded (not to mention my drunk wife falling down and ripping the hinged door off last year ) and I want to replace it but I have this giant hole in the dash to deal with.

I have found that the easiest way to get the one you want is to sell your current boat and buy a new one! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

You d!*k...now you have me thinking in a whole new direction. Who needs financial security, retirement, etc. Everytime that I need something small fixed, I'll just buy new!
LM1, being a CFP now, can you help me with my pending bankruptcy...I feel it coming on. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Just trying to help you before you spend way to much on this boat and never get it back when you sell it! http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif Just shine it up and sell it! Trust me, I know about these things. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif If you are going to put money into it...don't ever sell it. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/crazy.gif

I'm waiting until I completely renovate it to my standards...in other words, the pictures will be posted in about 2 years http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif . Â*I'll take some pics this weekend of my "work in progress". Â*Hopefully, Mead saturday and Mojave (Willow ) Sunday.
Kevin, you are 100% correct and we all fool ourselves into thinking, "I'm gonna keep this boat for 10 years" and it never happens. Â*But every time I think of getting a new boat, I choke at the thought of a $300+ payment plus $125 storage plus $75 insurance per month. Â*I'd rather keep my "paid for" boat which i can barely store in my garage and spend that $500 plus on an investment of some kind.
Now that I've convinced myself that I am being responsible, I'll probably upgrade next year http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Thanks for the help, KC. But if you would look at the pics (oops...he has no pics here yet. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif ) you could tell that mine is totally different than his. Thanks anyways. http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif
