Tilt the drive and keep on the gas. They dont really need to float to go. Unless your on rocks.
i wouldn't think that a 26ft boat would need 36in. of draft to float, but i could be wrong.
my wife is the one having a problem with it. she is paranoid. i own a place at utah lake and in the harbor it is 33 inches right now. i say put the boat in and push it out of the harbor if we have to. maybe you guys can convince her that its ok also seen a condo at parker for rent. is it shallow there or can i use this boat?

My dad has the same boat.
At powell it is about 3'-4' where we launch with no troubles
if you are worried when you back your boat in have someone standing by your prop when you drop it to see if there is any problem

In theory, you only need about a cup of water to float the boat. A bucket or so for a cruise ship. Blah blah blah
duckbutter how does your dad like his boat? i havent used mine yet anything i need to know? mine has a 385hp dual prop volvo what speeds am i lokinf at? are they reliable? how is the dual prop set up i have heard good things about it any info that you may think is helpful would be good. now i can show my wife what you guys say because all my ideas and decisions are wrong. she puts more stock into what others say well because she thinks im an idiot.

Try the Crownline web page. They have a pretty good forum that might be able to answer those questions for you.

EGB, just pm anyone of us with the "scripted" answers that you want and we'll post it, she'll read it, and, voila, you're always right http://www.lasvegashotboats.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
Example:
EGB: Honey, there's plenty of water to float our new boat!
Mrs. EGB: You're wrong, you're always wrong, and you'll always be wrong (standard wife rhetoric). Â*Why don't you ask those smart LVHB guys what they think?
MOWtown: EGB, it is a fact that you can float your boat in water as shallow as 3/16". Â*Happy boating!
See how easy it could be?
hey thanks guys now maybe i can go boating after i show her how smart you people are. you have said the same things i have told her all along but she listens to other people more tham me. is this a common thing amongst marrie men?
its all good

I WOULDN'T SAY COMMON, MORE LIKE STANDARD, I THINK THEY LEARN THE RESPONSE IN SOME SECRET TRAINING THAT THEY ATTEND BEFORE THE WEDDING,SO YOU JUST NEED TO FIND WAYS TO GET AROUND THEM, AND MAKE IT SOUND LIKE SOMEBODY ELSE TOLD YOU THE INFORMATION
